So....it has been toooooo long!  I have been so busy...I think of getting back to dA all of the time, but time hasn't permitted.  Today I am going to post something with my own design....also with an up close pic.

Still loving dA!  Feeling inspired by all!

So here it is 2014...where did the time go?  Things have been crazy to say the least.  I have been making baby hats like crazy and helping my stepmom with her ongoing injuries.  I am still walking Ben, the dog, and loving it.  I have my stepmom crocheting chemo caps to donate too!  With several car accidents in my family (one of my own...not my fault)  things have been crazy with phone calls, doctor appointments and paperwork.

I will post more pictures soon, I promise....It is one of my resolutions to spend more time with dA!  I still love it here.  I am going to make more time. 

Still feeling inspired and loving dA

I haven't been to dA in a while.  I was so busy with cupcake hats and various other projects.  Also with rounding up new memberships to the Friends group of my local library.  I'm vice president of the Friends group so I work real hard to get things done.  I've also been making lots of hats to donate.  

The weather is finally beautiful for a few days.  It's so nice to sit outside and take a break from getting my garden started.  It's going to be wet for the next week.

I've been missing dA lots.  I need the inspiration that I get here.

It's a brand new year!  So...time flies.  I think the last time I was fully in dA was back in the first week of December .   I feel so deprived!

I've been making cupcake hats like crazy.  I was making so many that I didn't even get to make my Christmas gifts.  I've make 7 before Christmas.  I have orders for 4 more!  I love making them. It's one of the best things I've made.  I have a few in my gallery.

There have been a bunch of babies born again at my job!  Now I am going to make some baby blankets.  I will post them when I can get them done.  I've some projects that I've had to put on hold.  Not sure when I can finish them.  One has to be done by the 10th of March.   Wish me luck on that.  I've still tweaking the pattern.

Well I gotta go!  Wishing everyone on a very Happy New Year!  Here's to a better year than 2012!

Lovin' dA

I am just writing a post. I've been on dA for a year on Nov 3rd!!! I'm super excited!  

I finally have learned to do double knit!  Makes items reversible. I'm very excited!    I'm getting used to working the two strands separately and what a challenge!  I will just take my time and work on it.    

It seems like I just love to start projects and let them hang out there in the wind....I don't know why....just seems to happen!  I'm up to finishing some of them now.  I had a shoulder injury and couldn't do any knitting or crocheting!  That totally sucked!  

I'm deciding what to make for my friends for the holidays. I'm leaning towards bracelets but not sure yet.  So much to do and so little time.  I will just have to get my ducks in formation and fly on the projects.  I will try to post some of the bracelets.  the experiments for crocheting jewelry has kind of worked out so I will have to see.

Well gotta go and look at more of the artist and their work to watch!
